    On February 14, 2024, the Mon District Legal Services Authority, in partnership with the Forest Department and 27 Assam Rifles, initiated a comprehensive effort at Mon District Jail. Led by Shri. B. Peter Resu, Secretary DLSA/CJM, Mon who warmly welcomed attendees, emphasizing the importance of the day's initiatives and chaired by Smti. N. Mannon, the event encompassed a dedicated legal aid program and sanitation drive. Notable speeches from Major Bensen J and Shri. Y.Tongkem, Forest Range Officer, Mon, encouraged prisoners to embrace reform and break free from their past.
