    The District and Sessions Court building Mon was established in the year 1988 located at the main gate entering to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner in the middle part of Mon Town. Court is two story building and the ground floor is occupied by the Prosecution section. Public Prosecutor, Police personals and prosecution Staffs employees occupy the rooms. At present we have four Govt. Pleaders-Cum App posted to Mon prosecution office. The first floor consists of District and Sessions Court and the other as the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate at present. As far as Mon District Bar is concern at present there are four Advocates who are practicing and permanently stationed at Mon. Initially Grade-1 officers were designated as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Judicial) until it was re-designated as Additional District and Sessions Judge in the year 2008 and later re-designated as District and Sessions Judge.
